Hey guys! First post
I am new to the whole car scene and I had a few questions regarding my new car.
I recently purchased a 2011 Mustang GT with the following suspension mods: Koni STR.T Shock and Strut kit (bought from American Muscle), and H&R Mustang Super Sport Springs (part # 51655.77). There may be more that I am missing, but I haven't had the time to really look at it and see what all has been done to it, and I lost the list of mods the guy gave me when I bought it
I am wanting to raise the car back up, but until I can afford to do that, I need to get it aligned. I have called multiple shops and stealerships, they all say they can't align my car because 1. it will not go up the ramp. or 2. because it is too low and the machine will hit my fender.
After looking through a few forums, apparently they may be lying to me and they actually can align it. I also read that you just set the toe to 0? And the camber on the s197 isn't adjustable unless you install camber plates and bolts? Again, I am new to all of this and know practically nothing about suspension or alignments. Can you guys give me some ideas of what I should do and what exactly I need to get done to my car so it doesn't shake above 70 mph and so it'll track straight?
Thanks guys,
Evan
Here are a few pictures of the car so you can get an idea of the look:
As a shop if they break it they buy it so, they’ve got no reason to lie because they’d be giving up money, unless the potetial to damage your car is larger than what they’d make on your car....
As modded as the car is, get some camber/caster plates. Don’t waste your money/time on camber caster bolts.
