750HP Whipple 2.9L S/C Kit early impressions...

Finally called FRPP. They requested I send in the .drf files from the dyno runs so the engineers can analyze them. Took four days to get some traction from the tuner shop that did the dyno runs. The files are supposedly on the way to me now so I can forward them on to Ford Racing. I would love it if they would find something wrong and send me a more robust tune. In reality, I'm pretty sure they're going to reply with a defacto, non-liable "It's operating within set parameters," and I'll be stuck with less than what I paid for. Fingers crossed.

Haven't updated this in a while. As feared, I got nowhere with FRPP. They used the classic stand-by excuse of "we rate power at the crank, blah, blah, blah" and "variations in drivetrain loss, etc." So... I have no choice but to live with it "down" on power. So that's that.
One other thing that I've been noticing, and I don't know if it has to do with the FRPP tune or if it happens to stock vehicles, too, is when I turn the traction control off and go for some spirited driving, the traction control turns itself back on sometimes between shifts and robs me of power. Anybody have this happen on their stock Shelby?

I think the stock clutches on the '10+ is good for 800+FWHP...perhaps more....I know the stock GT500 trans and clutch are better then the previous versions.
