What has he done to his car to get it in the 11's with 2.73 gears?

Well first its an LS1 Z28, it has a 4200 lock up stall, long tube headers, underdrive pulley, free airbox mods, electric cutout, and a bit of lightening, not too much it still has cruise ac power everything etc. That my friends is all he has done to it so far. We are doin some 3.42 gears, and talking about a few other ideas, no nitrous no blower, just a car set up to run good. We think its some sorta freak, cause another guy in our club has a M6 that was built the same week, and it has a Y pipe and a pulley and it runs 12.2's and 12.4 on street radials, not DR's. The LS1 is an impressive piece to me. He just barely gets into third in the 1/4 and only part way thru 2nd in the 1/8. Best of 7.7 at our local track.
