Sorry I haven't posted, I've been quite busy this weekend and was at school from 7am-9pm yesterday, I'm glad I got to go to work today. Anyway, To answer a few questions....IF I buy a ZO6 I will definately get a 02 or newer. That was the first year HUD was available(standard? I think) and I would really like to have that. How underated were they?? The 02s that is. Stanger88 tell your friend his IROC sounds like it is set-up quite nicely
. When I get my C5 I will gladly post pics. I will almost definately get a C5, just deciding if it will be an 02 Z or not. That will be worked out in the next few weeks. I will talk to my parents and to a few guys on here about what I would really want and what will get me there, FYI I am leaning hard to an 02 ZO6.

Had my car on the dyno this weekend, wanted to get baseline numbers before I started to mod, its stock except for a zip tie mod and it put down 365rwhp/ 358rwtq.

Rated at 405 IIRC, sounds like they are pretty on. A stock M6 C5 base will lay down around 300. Basically, cam+ LT's + tune with a base C5 to = a Z06 of the same year from what I can tell. I would get a Z06 before I got a cammed C5 though, more reliable, factory, less weight, better handling, more exclusivity, and if you cam IT....

That's what I was leaning towards with the Z. A cam would make it scream after CAI, EXH, and Tune....Salivating here. Looks like he was getting around 420 with ~15% loss. Was that your 02 or did you look it up on DC?

HAHAHA!!! Sorry dude, I own a 75 Stingray and an 04 Mustang, so I assumed everything is possible!!LMAO!! Not many people make the same mistake I did, but I'm young and am allowed to do so. Haha. LS6 FTW!!
Just to clarify about the mistake, I was referring to the fact that I bought a nice looking V6, b/c it was nice looking. No other reason and that is why I made a mistake. I had to say that before somebody read it and didn't know what I was referring to. Mustangs are cool, but buying a V6 just because it was nice looking was stupid.

What's the problem? You were the first one to respond to this thread with the info I was looking for and now it needs to be moved? I take it a mod has to move it right? If not how to I go about doing that?
