The guy with the Black GT ... That's the EXACT car I am looking for, lol ... I want different rims though. I meant the CA and TA, I'm not really worried about hanging with Vettes or anything ... The car would stay mostly stock other than CAI, Exhaust, and maybe a UDP. Is everyone with an '05 + Vert GT happy with it? Does it have good pickup? Any problems with the motors in the roof? I'll be getting this car in May, so I have time

As far as the other part of the question, no you don't have to put the top up if it starts to rain as long as you keep your speed up! Got caught on the freeway on time with the top down and it started raining hard enough were i needed to put my wipers on low and drove for about a half hour this way at about 70mph and not one drop of rain got on us or the interior, until we stopped! People looked at us weird, but we were in alot of traffic in the far left lane and i told my wife to see if the back seats were getting wet and not a drop got on them. So we kept going and once we got into town and slowed down under 40 then we had to stop and quickly put it up.
How the hell did you manage do dodge every single rain drop?

Either selling it to a friend, or trading it in.

Wanna buy it?

A few of us here are tired of the GM guys starting the GM flag waving sessions. The guy who started the thread was innocent enough, but such threads turn to snit fast usually here...unfortunately. [>:] Not speaking for yellowcobra, but that's my attitude. I've replied similarly recently.[:@]

Back to the thread; I can't answer the vert question as far as the e-brake/top down/up issue, but with a few mods, the 3V motors can definitely hang with LS1 equipped cars.

We have been here for years and you joined less than three months ago. You can't join a forum and bitch about the way it has been long before you got there. That would be like me moving to Canada and 3 months later telling the natives "This country sucks! Some changes need to be made around here!" when the best thing for me would have been to not move there in the first place if I didn't like it.

i agree, i like the fact that we have many GM guys on here that don't bash. . .

i think that makes mustangforums > all other forums. . . diversity. . . and it keeps others from saying things like. . . "my 02 sixer killed LS1" ha ha and $hit like that. I appreciate those guys giving honest and non mustang-bashing information. And i hope they keep it that way. . .

im not real big on the mustang camaro rivalry, sure i have it, and its pretty strong, but those guys, we have a mutual respect . . . i've just been more prone to domestic vs import rivalry, just my .02

I agree with you Black06. As long as the GM guys are respectful. BUT I think we all can see that there are a few that are intent on starting flaming sessions. When/If I'm on LS1tech, I'm careful what I post since I expect to get jumped on If I were to start bashing or trying to turn most threads there to a blue oval flag waving party...
