GMC Syclone vs. Ferrari 348TS
I wanted to a Syclone so bad when I was younger. I still consider the Syclone to be the quickest pickup truck, even though almost everyone thinks the Ram SRT-10 is quicker. Granted the SRT-10 does have a higher top speed, but the Syclone is just so much cooler than the SRT-10. The Lightning's came close, but still doesn't have the same effect on me as the Syclone. Ford should have made a Ranger with a supercharged 3.8L V6

There's a guy in the apartment building across from mine who has a Cyclone, along with an LT1 Z28 and a first gen Z28. I wanna steal that pickup and take it for a ride; if it's anything like my dad's Grand National (also a turbocharged V6 but only 3.8L instead of 4.3L) it would be a blast to drive.
Why the hell doesn't GM stay with turbo's.....? You got the Syclone, Typhoon, that old v6 TA that went mid 13's in the 80's, the GN's and GNX's.....are they scared going faster? WTF?

They did... but it was a SVT concept car.. it was called I think the Lightning Bolt, or something to that effect, since the Shelby came out www.svt.ford.com - doesn't have them on there anymore.. I use to go look at the GT90 [sm=drooldude.gif].. They also had an Expedition that was all done up to, called Thunder or something... To bad they never came to fruition - maybe if GM brings them back, they will....
