About the new automatic s4.. its my friends... he raced my car, an s2000 and a z4 off roll and lost to all of us...
s2000 (exhaust, top down, passenger)
z4 (stock top down)
S4 ( 2 passenger)
Mustang (1 passenger)
racers were from a 40mph roll
He also raced a 4 door g37s off roll and got beat pretty bad..
Off launch the automatic s4 beat the s2k but not by much only a car and they stopped at 70

I know you are familiar with top gear... the stig lap times are actually somewhat suprising for the car IMO

^^^ the monaro VXR is the same thing as the LS2 GTO here.... that's not too shabby being such a heavy car IMO

Although I like top gear for doing what they do. They are truly unique with that board of lap times.
I dont find that board to be accurate.... Only because they are in the UK and are constantly comparing Wet/Dry track conditions as if they are equal.
We all know cars will lap faster in the dry. But on Top Gear they disregard that fact and include the different conditions on their "wall"

Yea all of us expected to get owned mainly because s4's have always been compared to m3's so we knew the level the car was on, but for some reason it wasnt what we thought it was going to be. Whats the weight of the car? Maybe that can play a factor
Those are seriously not the expected results. The S2K and Z4 should've been cake, even from a roll....

^^^auto FTL. I raced a manual s4 back when I had the new edge and he coudln't get in front, but I couldn't either. And he had a passenger and it was just me in the car, and like I said he had some kind of exhaust, I sure it was just a catback but every little bit helps right?
