WHAT THE HELL?
Somebody, please, reassure me. I have a friend who drives a Porsche 930 turbo, he's invested 60 grand into the car and it currently generates 425 horsepower at the wheels. If any of you know anything about 930s, they're pretty damn light, so that kind of power is crazy. My friend just told me that his friend's eagle talon tsi apparently raced the 930 and spanked it! The talon isn't too heavily modded but it's supposed to have a truck turbo on it (WTF?). I called major B/S, but I keep hearing the same thing.
I didn't see the race, but I've been told the same thing by about 5 people.
The thing is, though, the people whove told me this don't exactly like the guy who drives the porsche.
All they said was "he walked on him".

I'm not sure what reassurance you need, but I have heard of alot of ricers going to junk yards and pulling the turbos off of diesel motors. Supposedly bolts up with minor work but your asking the wrong guy for info about that process.
Too much HP with not enough traction= going nowhere fast. I would like to think anyone dropping 60 grand should at least have known that though.

Copperhead is one of my friends, and let me shed more light on the race. The guy with the Talon is AWD, 95 I think. It doesn't have a front mount intercooler, and from what I have seen, the guy can't launch it(bogs it down somehow). I think its just BS.
Yeah...my friend (who wasn't even there) just told me to get the facts straight. What's that supposed to mean? Neither of us were there...and the FACT is that no 425whp 930 is losing to a ratty old talon with a bad driver.
