The Head Tick was not a recall, and you have to pay for it to be fixed...

If anyone says they got a free head swap.. it wasn't the tick, they're a bold faced liar, or they have a connection or just plain dumb service advisor at Ford.

Warranty is different. But it's not a recall.

You can live with it... it's not hurting your motor...

I am not sure if it'll fit... but you can call Steve and/or Mike @ Tousley Ford who gives us guys a 10% over cost price on Ford stuff... Just say you got his info from svtperformance.. they're on there and Modfords too...

The number is: 800.328.9552 ... they've hooked me up hardcore in the past... OEM alternator for more then half the price of what a "hookup" at a ford dealership was going to give me which was 10% off what they sell them for anyways... Just speak with Steve, or Mike and ask them...

But you will need the part number for your car.. I don't know if the fix for the 03/04 are the same as the older ones.
