Yea watch the Flowmaster bashing, my GT has flows............................................. .............and they're comming off and either Mags are going on them, or some other brand. Well, I can't decipher Harvs clip as it doesn't play too well on my computer, but I will say this much, if you want the best sound possible, then go with Magnaflows on a off road x or h (if you want a louder sound) pipe, but Flowmasters will be a good second, but after that, I don't reccomend anything else for sixers.
Bro, i dont know if youve read some of my earlier posts, but i mentioned that flows wont sound too good on a v6, but its a total different story on an 8. I would put stingers on an 8[sm=hail.gif]

AHHHH...there's your safety valve. If they remove a vital smog component, and it makes you fail a smog test, they are liable for damages, and they have to repair your car for you. Good on ya!

Ok..this is what happens a LOT in cali. The state sends out undercover cars. Cars they set up that WILL fail a proper smog inspection. If the tech misses something on the visual, he can be punished in the folowing way. He can get a citation, that will cost him a minimum of $100.00 and have to go to a smog refresher course, all the way up to the shop losing it's license, the owner and tech getting arrested, and having all the equipment seized by the state. So in Cali, if something is missing, it's not worth it for the tech to pass it. If the car requires 4 cats here, it had better have 4 cats. But that's Cali.
OH, and just because the Tech is smogging his friends car, the "customer" next in line MAY be the undercover. So most Techs here won't even clean pipe his friends or family member's car.

One more hing to drive this home. I SAW it happening with my own eyes. I had a friend who owned a gas station licensed to do smog testing. His Tech was clean piping cars. That is, hooking the electronics to the car being tested, but putting the sniffer in a car he knew was clean enough to pass.
I went to his station to visit, and BS, but when I got there, the state had a bobtail truck there, loading his smog equipment onto it, and he was in the back seat of the cop car in silver bracelets. The result was, he could not perform smog testing for 10 years, and got fined $65,000 dollars. They had sent in several undercovers, and had an extensive list of charges. The Tech lost his smog license permanently and was fined $25,000. He sold the station. End of story.

i got a nomaster, that is no muffler at all!!!! it can get pretty damn loud with no cats, i had hollowed out cats and fows on my poor deceased V8 86 lx, and i got pulled over alot but they never once looked under my car, they just wrote me tickets for being too loud, theres no cat police out there. in wa state there are towns w/o emisions, but if u cant pass u cant get tabs so to me it sounds like alota dramma for a little gain, leave em in if u dont know the rules, its not ellegal to put on a supercharger or turbo!!! or throw in a better cam or intake or put juice on it...... as far as i know, however im really dumb so who knows, lol!![:'(]
