Most people who come to look at it don't have a clue about Roush or the history of the car. Two families have called asking if it would be a good first car for their 16 year old daughters. I can't figure out how my CL ad would lead them to think it would be. LOL.
does it still have no HVAC/radio or has it been completely returned to stock, sounds like the perfect car for a 16 year old, no distractions
Haha, except for the Ram HD clutch, built T5, ground scraping stance and race seats. No HVAC (heater core and related is new in a box in the backseat) and I put in a basic CD player connected to stock door speakers.
So I was reading AM's blog a little tonight. Apparently it's been confirmed that the 2014 mustang is utilizing an IRS on all models??? That's cool and all, but to me, it's just something about the SRA and stangs that just go together. The termi's are great don't get me wrong, but it turns it into a different class of car altogether. I understand how they tried to make the '11 GT an M3 eater and all, but I feel like it's getting out of hand? Leave me my SRA, thanks. And now (allegedly) they're using neither the 3.7L V6 or 5.0L V8? Supposedly there'll be a new 2.5L Turbo (EcoBoost) I4, and a 500HP 5.4L V8. I can't believe they're scrappng those brand new engines, they CLEARLY work. I see another early 90's crisis happening! Eventually the base pony will come so far off the range (no pun intended) that Ford's gonna have to jump start the Probe again... It's almost like Ford is turning into the Apple/Mac of the automotive industry...

Those are just rumors, no need to get upset about it.
What I have read about the IRS is that it is going to be an option for 2014 through each engine option.
The 5.0L is here to stay also, they probably meant that the 5.4L would be an option.
The 3.7L is a farmed out engine and isnt NEW so it going isnt a big deal because it lives in other models.
The only way I can see a 2.5L Turbo in a Mustang is if they are going to play with extended range hybrids, otherwise I can not see that power plant being in the Mustang.
For 2014 I would like to see a 4.0L EcoBoost brought over from the Australian Market, its been too long since we have had a Straight Six.
For 2014 I bet its going to run down something like this for Non-GT500 drivetrain options.
3.5-4.0L EcoBoost
5.0L DI NA
5.4L DI NA
The GT500 might find itself with a Supercharged 6.2L - 7.0L Aluminum Quad Cam variant of the Raptors 6.2L and with 115mm Bore Spacing, Roush Racing already made that VERY CLEAR that it was possible with their "777" Project.
Honestly, if Ford really wanted to compete with fine tuned sports cars (And by compete I mean DESTROY), we would be hearing about transaxles, torque tubes and Aluminum space frames as major key factors in the 2014 Mustang.
If I see that kind of Tech tricle down to the GT500 or Boss Mustangs, I will be very happy because that means it wont be too long till its offered full board.

that 4.0L eccoboost engine would be really sweet man, and i think for 2014 ford should be fine, i mean they are going to have a lot of different custimization options and such, so it could bring more people to the market that like to change stuff up a bit
Im guessing the interior is going to be awesome too, since they are trying to compete with the european market.
And the Mustang will be available in RHD!!!

Built that today. Its either going to be the trophy for Best in Show or the winner of the burnout contest this saturday.
All parts are from a V6 or mustang... diff at the bottom is from a FWD van I believe.
