As far as how to get the body shop to do mods, just straight up go and talk to them.

I ran my GT into a pole (idiot me + sand on ground = no traction) and ended up getting the GT500 front conversion done. Basically, the adjustor will approve $x for the repair.

Then, you just say to the shop "I want to get the GT500 conversion. I will pay for the difference in price." Realistically, parts prices are really very similar. GT500 hood vs. GT hood for instance I think was a difference of like $150?

Ta da!

Good luck; sucks to see that your stang was hurt.

The GT500 looks pretty slick but I may want to keep the GT style, just something more beastly. Any ideas? The GT/CS style was suggested too but I can't seem to find any decent pics to make a decision. Also there are lots of potholes here and crappy roads so having it too low may not be a good idea, though the chin spoiler is on my wish list. I also wanted to change my grille, but from the pictures, it still looks intact. I may have to pay completely out of pocket for that unless there is a conversion kit that comes with both.

Very nice.. wow.. did you do a rear conversion too? Decisions, decisions. Are conversion parts as durable as OEM or even better? I did notice the conversion kits don't include the hood. I can't tell from your picture, is that your stock hood?

Those are Ford parts, so it's durable enough and yes I did the rear as well.
My hood is from Foose.
I do have a CS silver rear shot for you...

Ran across the Steeda Competition front facia too. Have any feedback about this piece? I am partial to grabber orange/yellow btw.. so I'm not sure how good it would look in satin silver.

I was lucky I didn't take anyone else with me, crossed 2 lanes until I wrecked. Sigh. Think I should of just tried to wipe out in the ditch instead, probably would of spared the damages.

The front left is completely smashed up to the fog light, the guard rail wailed down the whole left side and the left rear is crushed from the fuel door to the lights. Would insurance consider this a total loss or will they try to repair?

My poor baby, I am so heartbroken. I save it from a car jacking just to wreck it
just wondering, did the airbag deploy?
