wipeout!
If insurance is writing you the check, have the shop do whatever repairs and paint needed minus the front fascia( if you are getting a pre-painted roush). Have the fascia delivered to your house and install it yourself. They arent that hard to install and it will save you couple hrs of labor cost.
The body shop is willing to work with the parts and requested them unpainted since they will be doing a paint job anyways. I'll just have them do the job since my tech level is low
I looked at the written estimate today, the insurance is replacing my rocker stripes. They allotted for stock ford stripes but I do like the ones I have right now but may want to look into the stock stripes. Is the quality any different than aftermarket stripes? Does anyone have a picture of the stock rocker stripes? I can't seem to find a picture.

Got a voicemail from the body shop. They got my parts in
Bad part is that they took the damaged parts off and found MORE. They did not specify what in the message and they are now closed for the day!!

The body shop stripped off all the damaged parts yesterday. Found more internal damage, mainly in the trunk floor panel. Here are some pictures I took at the shop today. Waiting on the insurance to do another estimate before they can start working on my stang.. estimated a good month of work to complete

More damage revealed upon tear down... it's called a Supplement.
No biggy, just need a little pull on the frame machine to bring the fuel tube housing back out...
If it's a good shop, you're in good hands.
