Well, January 1st and still no news from Bama. This makes it exactly two months since I placed my order. Last email from Doug was on the 13th of December. I'm trying my best not to worry but the silence isn't helping.

Does anyone have any recent communication from him?

Nothing from my 12/5/09 order either. 3 emails unanswered for a couple weeks now. I think the poster is right that said to dispute with your credit card. Maybe I will do that around day 35 or so, if you only have 45 days.

Hope you resolve this soon. Off topic, are those SHR window louvers? Looks nice!

Yup, one of my better buys. SHR stuff is top notch. I also see our cars are almost clones

I remember asking for a new tune with a less aggressive 1st gear, one that limited it to only 5k at WOT. This was when I first got the 4.10s and new tires, didn't really know how to launch. When I tried it out, not only did it launch like a bat outta hell, but once it caught 2nd gear, it would snap my neck backwards; it had so much torque! Unfortunantly, the kickdown was too harsh for my liking so I went back to the standard race tune. I asked for a similar tune (lower 1st) from other places, but my only response was "we can't do that". Doug did it with in a week, no problem. Even followed up with an E-mail. I was impressed. I also asked for other whacky tunes to help me launch even harder, but I settled into the race tune just fine.

Of course, this was last summer.

Hey why don't you call Liz at Blow by Racing and you will have your tunes in 1-3 days instead of weeks or months. Doug is not doing buisness like he should. I can't help his problems.(Been there and done that.) I asked for a refund because my tune kept throwing up a lean condition in all 3 tunes which caused the car to run like junk. Liz emailed me a tune in 1 day, downloaded it and the car is fixed. Runs excellent. They have all the same stuff and a phone no. that you can talk to someone in person. The Way to do Buisness!!!!!!!!! They have their own dyno also. You wont be dissappointed.

I have ordered a tune that is a piece of junk and he will not return my emails either. No phone, what kind of buisness is this? Contact BBR, blow by racing and he will get you a tune immediately, Liz will answer the phone and is very helpful, they fixed my tune and I am most gracious for their help and understanding of my frustration over bamachips. It took 60 days to get my chip from Bama.
Too late to contact credit card or PayPal. I was going to open a dispute about 40 days into this ordeal but held off because of all the good feedback on Bama. Live and learn I guess. From now on I'm sticking to well known stores with an actual physical presence.

I'm still hopeful that he'll come through, otherwise it's going to be a while before I can afford another intake and tuner. I'll post back here when and if I ever hear form him or get my order, until then not much point in beating a dead horse.
