Cops and sequentials
They are only looking for a reason to pull you over. They do this to check the driver. Something must of caught his eye and that was the only thing he could come up with. Sequentials have been on cars since the 70's. I had them on my 73 Cougar and was never pulled over for that. Although I was 17 at the time and pulled over for other things so it is them just doing their job. Don't give them a hassle and you will be fine.
I got a ticket on a motorcycle for having my helmet visor up in Orlando in a 20mph traffic during summer.
Dumb *** cop! I beat it in court but I still wasted precious time.
As soon as the judge saw the cop's name, he tossed the thing.
Next! He said, lol.
So yeah, douche bags are everywhere...

Just because new models come with them does not mean a retro-fit to an older model is legal. Many cars come with HIDs, adding HIDs to a car that did not come from the factory with them IS illegal in some states. Many 05-09 mustang owners in NJ with retro-fitted sequentials are failing state inspection.
I'm in NJ and have been passively thinking about these, so I am trying to rationalize HAHA!
