Nope, no way to do it; you'll have to overwrite and lose one of them.

That sucks. I took the chance last night and just overwrote my 93 tune since I needed it this morning. Suppose I could always ask Brenspeed if I need it, but then it's not like I'm switching gears everyday.

yeah it's locked down. Kenne Bell is tweaking my tune and I have to send the tuner back to them to get it loaded.

Why would you need a new tune for new gears?
Could'nt you just use the same tune but adjust the gearing ratio under change options on the SCT X3?
Why would you need a whole new tune>?

Why would you have to send the whole tuner back to them instead of them just emailing you a tune?

I would guess that it's a bit of insurance for the tuner that you don't take their tune file and decompile it (or whatever). Basically by loading it into the tuner directly, the end user never gets access to the raw image file, and that limits what the end user can do with that tune.

Otherwise you could get a tune file from tuner X, then possibly reverse engineer it so that you could then use it as a baseline for tuner Y to improve/change, or to mod yourself when you get upgrades.

Some tuners don't mind emailing, some do apparently.

Thanks for the info...

What about the other situation?
Why is he getting a whole NEW tune from Brenspeed just for a gear change? Why not just change the gearing ratio using his SCT X3 under his current Brenspeed tune?

Yeah, beats me! I was just messing around with the SCT X3 today and you can definitely change the gear ratio to all of the popular values, although I have Bama tunes, not Brenspeed.

I have an automatic, so the shift points need to be adjusted, as per Brenspeed.

It's not really important in manuals, well cuz you drive it, well, manually but still need to change the gear ratio for the speedo.
