sparkplugs

RE: sparkplugs
I changed mine out this past Thursday, I should have taken a step by step and posted some pics. It's pretty straight forward on the drivers side. Just enough room to take the Coils off with out removing the fuel rail.... remove the bolt holding the coil in place, and wiggle the coil off the plug. use a ratchet, with atleast 6-9"s of extensions. Remove the old plug and install the new one be sure to put anti seeze<---(spell check)on the threads and carefully thread the plug back into the hole, DO NOT CROSS-THREAD THE PLUGs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
On the pasenger side I had to remove the CAI, and unbolt the fuel rail (2 studs) that hold it into place, with a little finess and some wiggling the rail will pop off the injectors and it'll give you enough room to wiggle the coils off the plug towards the rear of the motor. BE SURE WHEN YOU REMOVE THE FUEL RAIL THAT YOU MAKE SURE THE O-RINGS (SEAL) STAY ON THE INJECTORS.
Replace the plugs, ease the injectors back into place with the fuel rail, ease the rail back on top of the injectors, you'll feel them seat, and seal into the rail when they are all lined up. Replace the studs holding the fuel rail, and put everything back together.
You may have to unhook the IAC and TPS harneses to remove the fuel rail....
Hope this helps, I wish I had some pic's to share, but take your time, and it's pretty straight forward!

RE: sparkplugs
you dont have to remove the fuel rail...you can get them past without doing so...done it to many times to count...
when you use never seize.. use VERY little....the head is what the spark plug uses as a ground...so u dont want to take that away now do you? so just use it sparingly
