Borla Stingers + O/R pipe + Headers = EARGASM!!!

 

o/r x=raspy/poppy but it still sounds decent. I like the h with the stingers and l/t's like 0949er's car.

 

Yeah, I have ran them with a stock pipe, o/r h, and a catted x. Never had a problem with it sounding raspy, but then again I have never tried the o/r x

 

Yea, i was referring to the o/r x pipe. My flowmasters are raspy with the o/r x but not with the catted. The catted provides the perfect level of "burble" i'll call it on decel and a nice separation of tone on accel. No raspy or pop though.

Dude, i LOVE the smell of an o/r midpipe in the morning. lol but plus one on 100+ octane!!! dad runs 114 leaded in his 68 shelby(for lubrication purposes) and that stuff smells goooooooooooooooooood. lol

 

sorry to bring up this thread, but 2 pages back someone asked if it sounded raspy or pops, it only pops when you rev it up real high and it hits the rev limiter ): its not raspy its more of a deep growl, im going to take video of it soon but its loud enough to hurt your ears if i get it up near 5k, it was cool at first but it does get annoying quick especially when your cruising at 1k and it sounds louder than almost every car near you and you can hear it inside the car im starting to just keep it under 1k unless I want to make noise but when I do make noise cops love to pull me over, and ask a bunch of question is this the exhuast that came with the car does it have a cats and I can say Yes look underneath haha! Gutted cats ftw! but i love it and hate it!, no more sneaking out or picking up girls who aren't supposed to be out!

 

under 1000rpm?! Thats bad on your motor mang. just try to keep it below 2000rpm.
