So how much is WAY short should I be looking at 280 290 or less than that? These cars are supposed to put down 265 stock. Is it correct in saying that a stock auto gt is slower than a stock manual gt off the showroom floor? And if so that is something I find rather disturbing.

With an auto you will be WAY short of 300rwhp.. If you had CMCV DP's and LT's you would have a chance

I'm bout to get some of my stuff installed in a little while, or atleast when my LCA's and UCA comes in. I am doing the following in my Auto.
- C&L "Street" Intake
- Steeda Pulleys
- FRPP CMCV Delete Plates
- FRPP 4.10's
- CHE LCA'S
- CHE Adj. UCA
I already have the C&L in with a 93 Octane Brenspeed tune. I'm still thinking about doing LT's/X Pipe as well. Which will be Kooks. I currently have SLP LM's right now. I'm just hoping that I will touch atleast 280 with everything except LT's/X-Pipe. If I do get the LT's though I'ma be hoping for 300. Then again you'll need a damn good tune as well.

Well if Im that short I dont see LTs and deletes putting meat 300. I may have to come up with some alternate modds to get me there. I wont stop until I get to 300rwhp so I may wind up spending more money than I expected.

Auto is not necessarily slower. It does put less HP to the ground but it shifts faster and never misses a shift. Im going to guess RWHP at 283! Whats the prize for winning?

A CAI and tune alone should put you in the 280s for rwhp.
If you have all the bolt ons short of heads/cams/forced induction you should be at leastaround 310 rwhp even with a mail order tune from one of the popular tuners.

Well I guess thats more food for thought. I am gonna call my guy at the dealer and see if he can get me the cmdp,s but will let my tuner do the tune for the install before I go get the dyno next month. I am a little rattled by the facts on the autos but I guess you live and learn. Go Saints in 2007 The bears really put it on us tonight. Thanks for all the input guys!!
