intake swap
I have a 5.0 out of a 88 thunderbird and right now it is fuel injected and i converting it to carb. I found an intake and carb cheap and it is on an stock 81 5.0 and i was wondering if it is going to work.

Carb will let you run more max horsepower and they are easier to work on and self tune.

Just curious, I am new to the whole racing scene. Why would you want to go from fuel injection to carb.
