Default Junkyard rear-end

Wanting to replace the entire rear-end in my 88GT, just to keep the stock one available down the road. What vehicles could I rob the rear end out of to run in my Stang, preferably already 3.73. Rear end is 8.8. Thanks in advance.

different perches. best to find a turbocoupe rear end. they come with 355 or 373 depending on the years and have disk brakes

my spelling sucks. leaf springs are different then coil. our cars have brackets where a leaf spring has a perch. a flat bracket on the upper or lower of the spring. for the leaf to sit on

yea he is right we just did this in the other theead but the ranger internals are the same as the mustang . the ranger has t-lock and goes from 2:47 to 4:56 and has both 31 and 28 spline axles and are the same leanght as the mustang. thhe ranger axle rear coads are in the junk yard swap thread 1 page back

The turbo coop is the ez out cause the rear will just bolt in

actually a T coupe is a hair different. some minor working to it. now if you dont run quads i think no issue at all but this rear is a hair wider cause of the extension for the disks
