i believe the car is an original v8. thats what was in it when i got it. the motor blew so i took it out and just put a little bigger pistons in it and i figured i could get a little more power out of it by putting a hotter cam in it while i had the motor apart. now that its rebuilt it idles like crap and likes to stall when its in gear and sitting still. it spits and sputters and shoots flames out of the exhaust occasionally.

 

If its shooting flames, aka backfiring, it looks like it running super rich...
