well, a new set of eddy heads is 899 right now. That is 400 bucks in difference. Most likely with being on a race car, they will need some work done. (I am about positive I will have to buy springs regardless with the cam he runs) Valve guides prolly have wear. Valves are starting to go.

Even if they were okay, on a street vehicle after 10 or 20k they problems will show themselves. Then I would be out more money than I would spend on a new set because of having to by gaskets again. Bottom line, I ain't giving much for a used head, especially If I can't see it first.
