As long as they don't pop your hood and look for the smog pump you should be fine. Here in indiana all they check for is the presence of a cat O2's being hooked up and no obvious problems with the exhaust and as long as it passes the sniffer your good to go.

No, I said UPSTATE NY not NY city!! No NY plates on car as I said been in NC over 2 yrs now.

I can understand being thorough..that's his job. But 45 minutes because he couldn't find the 02 sensor is just retarded.
