Whats the difference between the Nickle plated Longtubes and the Ceramic coated?

Ceramics are $100 more so they are clearly better but whats the difference?

the ceramic coating keeps temps under the hood down and the finish looks better longer

I have the nickel coated BBK longtubes, I love them but they did rust on me. I am in the process of adding a Moroso evac kit and wrapping them to clean up the rust. go with ceramic.

Well I've got some "ceramic coated" unequal shorties on there now... and either they are not ceramic coated, although they sure look it, or my engine all of a sudden produces a **** ton more heat. My engine bay is soo much hotter with the "ceramic" shorties than with the original stock headers. That's why I want to wrap them in addition to them being coated. I'm also considering wrapping the H I get with the LT's with a different type of tape designed for exhaust pipes. This motor is getting built to the hilt eventually, so why not do it right. I'm putting off the LT's until the motor is ready since the stock one is burning a lot of oil.

We've got BBK L/T's. Nice headers, we put ours on as we dropped the motor in, so it was easy.
