yes '95 was last year but after '92 they stopped using forged pistons
i think that the '89 cars ran best, some will argue that an '87/'88 speed density car will run fastest.... it's close
i can say my '89 truly kicked the crap outta my current '93... by a lot too, about 5-6 tenths slower in this car and it sixties better than the '89 so go figure

dont quote me on this but I do believe 87-92 GT's were rated at 225 HP and 300 Ft/Lbs of tourqe. The 93 GT was rated at 205 HP not sure about TQ. The 94-95 Gt's were 215HP and 285TQ. I'm not familiar with pre-87 cars so I dont know what they had for hp

The 1993 5.0 Cobra featured SVO GT-40 heads and intake manifold, better flowing exhaust, 65 mm TB, 24# injectors, 70 mm MAF and a recalibrated EEC-IV computer. Conservatively rated at 235 HP (was actually around 265 FWHP).

did not have a different exhaust, the heads were NOT SVO... the aluminum counterparts were an SVO production item
