Everyone in the other forums say that that intake is bad! I have asked this question before. To me an intake is nothing more than a tube with a filter on it! I was considering buying the one on ebay. My only concern is what appears to be an aluminum tube. Won't that conduct heat and make it a hot air induction?

Ok, I got it and installed it today....

1. Looks freaking awesome
2. Sounds freaking awesome
3. Easy to install
4. Goes righ into the fenderwell, so even if the aluminum piping conducts heat, you're now getting cooler air to start w/ and the hot pipes won't bring it down enough to negate the gains.
5. $50 for a K&N filet or $45 for all fitting, chrome tubes, and a filter...you decide

Cool! I saw a bunch of different ones. Which one do you have, and did they have it for an '04 GT? Most of the ones I looked at wanted $20 for shipping!!!! Did you pay that much?

Sadly....yes, I did pay that much, but it was still cheaper than anything...nothing even close to being that cheap. MustangTuning.com I believe sells a very similar if not the same package for $100...this came to like $66.

Today driving to school when I hit the gas, I could hear it sucking air in! What rush...lol I've got the modding bug and it won't let go! (next is a Bassani X pipe!)

Oh yeah, forgot to add I got the one from Revzo racing... as described ...all hardware...easy to install... AND IT'S CHROME..BLING BLING ***** F**KERS!!!! hahahaa (joking....I'm a redneck, not a gangsta')

Ok, one last question. How many years back can I go? Will the 2002 intake fit on the 2004? How far back was the intake systems the same?

I believe either all 2001+'s or 99+'s will work, not sure which one

Densecharger lists the same part # for the 1996 - 2004 GT's, but that don't mean other companies do too.
