Glad you are getting somewhere. Obviously some kinks need to be ironed out of this blower package, but it still seems to be a good unit.

At the moment, I'm 2nd place to a trailer that is getting ready to go to a show somewhere.

If I did it again, it would be Whipple all the way. Tried, true, and everybody knows how to install & tune them. And they probably don't even ship with misthreaded bolt holes and bad throttle bodies.
Whipple uses the stock throttle body, but I wish they included the gt500 or that monoblade they sell.

Do a search for JDM sucks, they don't have the greatest track record for customer service. They like to take on more work than they can actually finish, I hate that kind of business practice.

Choose any two: have it soon, have it cheap, have quality/performance. Can't have all 3. Hint: they offered the best deal on the E-Force kit.

They were slow. But they always answered the phone and gave very high quality support. Nearly every problem I had was a direct or indirect result of Edelbrock's "first model year" type manufacturing issues. I'm not down on JDM at all, although I did get ticked off a few times as my frustration at multiple install issues accumulated.

Anyway, an update....

I have all my gauges working.

Boost reads 8 psi at 4,000 rpm and WOT. That's about where I limit myself until the dyno checks everything out.

My wideband reads 10.0 at the the moment I floor the gas pedal. Then it quickly moves to 10.9. Occasionally I see it jump straight from 10.9 to 11.6 and back down to 10.9. Kinda strange instantly jump back and forth with no visible transition. Maybe that's a function of how fast or slow the wideband can react.

The sensor is mounted about 6 inches in front of one of the cats. Will be interesting to see how my gauge compares to the dyno.

I'll tell ya this - its kind of unnerving to floor the gas pedal and try keeping an eye on boost or wideband plus the road plus the tachometer while the E-Force is whining, engine is screaming, and my cheeks are pushed back to my ears while the tires are begging to break loose.

Looks like everything is coming together now that all the gauges are working. What did you end up finding with your Aeroforce gauge? Was it indeed the wrong model?

Those rich AFs might actually be real as it would not be surprising for the JDM tune to purposely be "safe". And if that is indeed accurate, you probably have some more power waiting to be untapped with some tuning tweaks. My base tune from EB only put down ~395RWHP (which is similar to what most were seeing) and with a few tweaks to fuel and timing, we gained almost 30RWHP.

Good luck with your new found power and can't wait to see your dyno results!

Jim Jr told me to look for 11.5 A/F. Its cool though if they sent a tune that was a little rich. Better to error on that side.

The Aeroforce...strange, it just started working all the sudden as soon as the car was tuned right. I can only guess when the tune was so messed up the computer was too busy to talk on the OBD? I know data logging (or OBD type stuff) is a low priority thread in most real-time computers like what's inside of cell phones (my industry). Maybe cars are the same way.

I also can't wait for the dyno. I want everything to look ok so I can finally exhale

If your AF is below 12, and you aren't pinging, you should be good.. That boost will climb a bit more since its a roots style blower, probably to 9 or 9.5 psi at 6200-6300 rpm..

If you really want to watch the AF at wot, do a 3rd gear pull from about 35 mph. When you first punch it, the AF can go all over, but it should very rapidly settle out around 11.3-11.6 and pretty much hold there at wot.. You could also do 4th gear from about 40 mph, you wont be accelerating like mad and you will still get to see what the AF is doing. Watch for pings and knocks though.. if you hear anything, get off the throttle..

Finally got my FRPP plugs in the car. My 1st set got fouled up in the wild goose chase that was started by a bad throttle body.

And since my A/F looks on the rich side, I took the car out and beat on it a little. Wow. Can't believe how fast this thing revs. I see now why people get shift lights. I need to setup my Aeroforce for that.

I'm also feelin my Bassani Race Axelbacks that I put in at the same time as the E-Force. BURRAAAAAGHAGGHAGGHAGGHAAAA!!!!

Hows the drone?

I had the Bassani Race. They sounded loud, deep and amazing....except at 2K rpm where the drone was HORRIBLE. God it felt like my head was going to implode. If it weren't for that I would have loved them. Well, that and if the right one didn't break internally causing a loud and annoying rattle.

Actually with the windows down the drone wasn't really there or bothersome. But as soon as they came up, holy crap!

They can drone really bad under load - like going uphill in 5th gear acceleration below 2,000 rpm. But in most conditions, they don't drone much more than my Bassani Streets did.

Don't get me wrong, they drone PLENTY. Sometimes A LOT. But I find it manageable. Might be because of my headers, I dunno.

I had Stingers once, before I had headers. I had them with an without a Bassani catted X. And they droned very, very badly. Way worse than the bassani race muffs in my current headers + cats + x-pipe configuration.

And I almost though my Bassani Race had an internal rattle. Then I discovered the bracket hanger design is beyond awful. It rubs against the brackets. I had to bend the hangers and cut away (with an air tool cutter) significant chunks of my brackets so they wouldn't rub.
