Horn Issues PLEASE HELP!!!
Hey and thanks in advance for any help anyone can give. Have a 2007 Mustang GT, was driving down the road and the horn just started going off. If you turn the key off and back on it will not go off.....untill you start the engine. It will not honk if key in run, but if you start the engine it does. So to not get shot I unplugged the horn. Horn issue
I have a 2006 Mustang GT and I was having the same problem for about 6 months. I took my car to two different dealers to find out what the problem was. Check for pass side wet carpet/pad from the water leak syndrome.
Disconnect the horn wire from the back of the SJB and see if the
problem persists. If not, its the horn button or wire to the SJB.
If it still honks with the horn button wire disconnected from the SJB,
its the SJB that is triggering the Horn Relay in the BEC under the hood.
Wet SJB causes all sorts of problems and its a known issue.
