Why because its true? Im sorry i don't get heaps of cash handed to me and i work for everything thats done to my car, and the fact of the matter is if i felt like caging my car finished on a 250 shot it should be good for atleast 10s... The problem? i don't feel like caging my car therefore i will not be running a big shot and staying around mid to high 11s.

I have plans for a Future foxbody where i will be caging my car but i want to buy a house first so that wont come for atleast 3 years, untill them being the 18 year old i am i will be content with a little 11 second car.

To everyone else. You guys don't know MFJ like i do, from the day i joined the forums he was flaming everyone in nearly every ****ing thread i saw his name in so i felt the need to do the same to him. This included my threads, back when i knew next to nothing about modular cars i was asking advice on affordable decent power builds and he gives me a list to a 40k build... real cute. Not to mention he even admited that he was a dumbass just 2 years ago but yet as soon as he learns something he starts flaming other people for what they don't know and THAT is my problem with this tool. He gives me no mechanical credit when i deal with torn apart cars nearly every weekend weather they be old pushrods Mustangs or even OHC Hondas but he calls me a parrot saying i have no real knowledge or experience? I have much more experience than most people around here my age and even up to a few years older than me, keep in mind i run with a pretty car oriented crowd....

Well dont feed the fire. If you guys get too far out of hand someone will get banned, and that sucks for everyone because then they cant share their knowledge with the less fortunate. Not to say MFJ hasn't had quite a few mishaps but still can you honestly say you are perfect and have never made a mistake? You have never had any accidents with your stang? If you even try to say you are perfect than you would be the biggest tool of all, and Its just the internet dont take it too seriously.

My guess is he is just some guy on the internet so why get so worked up over it? At the ned of the day people like MFj and I can be useful since we have gone to the next level and can help out people trying to get to where we have already been. I get PM's all the time asking me questions about different things and i bet MFJ gets the same. I choose to carry myself a little differently than what MFJ does but thats his choice. Sandbaggin and playing the ******* can certainly be fun at times. Hell it can be really fun. Any way my point is it is probably just his online persona and he is probably a decent guy. Don't let things on a internet forum get you so worked up.
Agreed, I've always appreciated your attitude. Online persona's are just that anyhow...who knows if he's a douche IRL. There's no need in being a douche online though either....

Either way, good advice.

^ nice move full lengths ftw.

and no in no way did i say i was perfect. The only problems i have had is blowing a sparkplug out and some sensors dying... fyi I don't see how my car not ****ing up alot makes me perfect because im sure as hell not and i didn't say i was. I know you didn't exactly say that but it sort of came off that way. I guess not letting tools on the internet get away with contradicting theirselves when i should just leave it alone is one way im not perfect.

: ) good as long as you know that no one is perfect then then you should know that bad things do just happen sometimes. For example I too had a sparkplug pop out, and there wasn't anything I could have done to prevent it. Now im going out on a limb here but Maybe, just maybe MFJ has had the same ****ty luck repeatedly with engines. Give him the benefit of the doubt.

dont worry ive had a stock 02 GT motor blow a hole in each side of the block and had a "built" MMR 900 go to **** on me also....its def an expensive hobby but u gotta pay to play! and if someone just happens to have boatloads of money somehow then of course im gonna be jealous but good for him..wish it was me though!..but like someone said we are all here for the same reason so let all try to get along and help each other out so when a sick car is built u may be able to say "yea i reccomended those parts and they turned out awesome!"
and im sure the owner will love u for it also
