so i could get 120kmi out of my engine with a blower no problem as long as i change oil and keep up with maintnence? thats the only thing i'm worried about is blowing a ring or some stupid **** like that.

 

Question on this subject. I'm getting a GT in a month or so, and I was wondering...

You guys are all talking about aftermarket heads. Can't you just port the stock heads and get similar gains to after market ones? Cause I know a machinist who can do it real cheap for me...

 

sams... it depends on a lot of factors... there are guys with 150k miles and blown cars... but, its a rarity - theres 03' Cobras with 75k miles right now running perfect.. its a matter of taking care of your car + luck.
