Water Pump

if you are doing the water pump, you might as well update your thermastat while your in there! This is a pretty simple job. But as stated it can be time consuming, just take your time and get a haynes book (or some other manual) for help!
If you would like a used edelbrock high flow water pump let me know, Im selling one!

Well you're 95% there that's why I suggested it. It's not bad as long as you take you're time.

When the pump went in mine, it did the chain too because I didn't feel like ripping it all down again at a later date.

^^^ ya but then you say, well since im replacing the timing chain i might as well put a cam in, and since im doing that to get better performance i migghgt as well put a set of heads and intake on....
Next thing you know you have a 600 hp drag car!
haha damn snow ball effect (shaking fist at car)

or you could blow a head gasket and decide you want to strip the car of all parts, paint it and stick a mod motor in it

if your gonna open the cover might as well do a cam ect ect, if it ain't broke don't fix it, ,your not 95% there either, remove alt and bracket and smog and harmonic balancer and sometimes drop the pan a tad if cover won't slide past lip and if it won't you often will end up doing a pan gasket ect ect....... ole snowball effect
