Hey Bruce I like the hose (separator) set up you have running around the front under the cover. Better than mine running across the motor. What are you securing the hose with under the front cover?Thx.

Well, I'm prob going be no help but I'll try. I don't have a s/c, however, I was cleaning out my throttle body today when I did notice the bottle saying do not apply if motor is supercharged, turbocharged, or diseal. I have no idea why the bottle said that, but I'll take a double check.

I also have a bama tunes and I normally run the "Race" tune. When I go to the race track, I switch to the "tq" tune because I cant hold the rev with the race tune. Anyway, If I keep the tq tune or if I switch back to the race tune, my revs back and forth just like yours for maybe a couple of hours before Its normally again. My understanding is its the computer adjusting to your driving.

It's zip tied to a wire bundle that runs under there.

Well I'm back after a couple of tune revisions. No change in the minor surge/bog. He actually offered my money back but I have refused because I am still using a great tune. Hopefully we can find the reason for this glitch in the idle some day. Some one mentioned wet plugs because of hitting the rev limiter which I have done a few times since installing the H.O. kit. Any basis for this. Can it be checked? Also I have ordered an x-pipe because someone also said my cats could be hooped and causing this wet plug issue. I have never heard of this.I am not getting any trouble lights. What is weird is that it only happens when the motor is hot.

Just a minor update for those of you who might have minor idle surges.Well I got a trouble light today: P2135 Replaced the TPS and was hoping that was the problem for the surge but not a f'n chance. I'm not going with the catted x just too much expense time and effort for a lot of noise and not much power. So I guess I should get the plugs yanked and checked? Running out of options.

Reads like it could be a "dashpot" issue or an "idle air integrator" issue. Both software correctable.

No, it can't be too clean. The only thing, make sure you use a cleaner designed for throttle bodies so you won't remove the coating on the inside. I used Throttle Body Cleaner and a soft towl.

Mine was dry....really dry. After cleaning and the oil separator install I thought maybe it might need a little bit of maintenance lube or something.I am grasping for anything that might be causing my hot motor start up idle surge.Brenspeed said that they just installed the exact same tune in one of their cars and in other's with no problems.Am waiting for them to send me a new tune but he hasn't sent it yet.I quote " Here is the final attempt I can make with your mustang if this does not help I will refund your money to help fund somebody close that does not have to do it remotely".Thing is the "legit tuner" up here starts at around a $500 ,charges($500) for a 'leak down inspection first' takes about a week and uses Diablo I have an SCT so we would be talking big bucks. At least this glitch doesn't disable me but is sure exasperating.Oh ya Brent also said that if my car was near their shop they would work on it for free to fix this glitch. Wish I lived a little closer.
